Las Header
Parsed LAS/LAZ public header block. Covers LAS versions 1.0–1.4 — later versions extend the block but keep every field below at a stable offset. All multi-byte fields are little-endian per the ASPRS spec; reads go through BinaryDataView.
LAZ files carry the same header as their LAS source with the LASzip compression bit set in the point-data-record-format byte — isCompressed strips it and pointDataFormat is always the underlying ASPRS format (0–10).
Properties
Byte offset from the file start to the first VLR (= header size).
True when the point records are LASzip-compressed (needs a LazChunkDecoder).
GPS-time is standard-adjusted (bit 0) rather than week-time. Only relevant to LAZ.
Byte offset from the file start to the first point record.
Total point count — the 1.4 64-bit field when present, else the legacy 32-bit field.
Underlying ASPRS point format 0–10, with the LASzip compression bit removed.
Bytes per point record, including any trailing extra-bytes the spec fields don't name.
