Types
IC — image compression.
Decode the 60-byte IGEOLO field into a list of four corner locations.
ICORDS — coordinate representation that governs the 60-byte IGEOLO field.
NITF 2.1 / NSIF 1.0 file header (the very first segment of every file). The parser walks the spec-defined positional layout (MIL-STD-2500C §5.2.1) and captures every spec field, but only a few are exposed as typed accessors — the rest are stashed in securityBlock / unparsed for applications that care.
Spec enumerations from MIL-STD-2500C (NITF 2.1) / NSIF 1.0. We translate the raw string codes from the file/image headers into type-safe enums so the downstream image reader doesn't pass free strings around. Any unrecognised code becomes null at parse time — the segment is kept (callers can inspect the raw code) but pixel decode will refuse to proceed.
IMODE — pixel/block/band ordering inside a compressed-or-uncompressed image.
Decode the pixel data section of an uncompressed (IC=NC or IC=NM) NITF image segment into a row-major ARGB int[] suitable for upload as a Bitmap / BufferedImage / <canvas> ImageData.
IREP — image representation.
Parsed subheader for one NITF/NSIF image segment. The image data (the pixel grid itself, possibly preceded by a block mask) is not decoded here — see NitfImageReader.decodeArgb / NitfImageReader.decodeRaw.
PVTYPE — image pixel value type. MIL-STD-2500C §5.4.3.4.
Functions
Convert a NitfImage into a renderer-ready ImageSource. The platform builds the cheapest native bitmap representation it can (no PNG-encode round-trip) and hands it to the surface-image pipeline.
